CVG Mark Chapter 10

1  2  3  4  5  6  10

1. And from there getting up He comes into the hill country of Judea, across the Jordan. And gain the crowd [was] going along with Him. And again as it was His custom, He taught them.

2. And the Pharisees coming to Him [were] asking Him if it was lawful for a man to divorce his wife ([they were] testing Him).

3. And He answered [and] said to them, "What did Moses command?"

4. And they said, "Moses permitted, 'to write a book of desertion and to divorce.'"***

5. And Jesus said to them, "he wrote to ya'll that command because of your hardness of heart."

6. "But from the beginning of creation, [it was] "male and female He made them."

7. "'On account of this, a man will leave his father and his mother and will be joined together with his wife.'"***

8. "'And the two will be one flesh,' so that no longer are they two, but one flesh."

9. "Therefore, that which God joined, let no man separate."

10. And again the disciples [were] in the house asking Him about this.

11. And He says to them, "Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery with her."

12. "And if she divorces her husband [and] marries another, she commits adulter."

13. And they brought children to Him in order than He may touch them. And the disciples rebuked them.***

14. And Jesus seeing [this] was angry and said to them, "Let the children come to Me, do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God is for such as these."

15. "Truly I say to y'all, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a child will not enter into it."

16. And wrapping His arms around them, He blessed [them] putting His hands on them.
